During the final stop of his Middle East tour, US President Donald Trump secured a landmark deal with the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The agreement includes over $200 billion in commercial partnerships, significantly boosting US exports and investments.

The White House announced that these deals will enhance market access for US businesses, strengthen economic and national security, and expand foreign investment in the US. The agreements build on the UAE’s earlier commitment to invest $1.4 trillion in the US over the next decade.

A key component of the deal is the establishment of the US-UAE AI Accelerator Partnership. This framework aims to deepen collaboration in critical technologies, including AI infrastructure, semiconductors, and quantum computing.

The UAE’s tech firm G42 will lead the construction of a 5GW AI data center campus in Abu Dhabi, spanning 10 square miles. This will be the largest AI data center outside the US, with multiple American cloud providers and hyperscalers operating within it.

US Commerce Secretary Lutnick emphasized that the agreement includes strong security measures to prevent unauthorized technology transfers. Major US tech leaders, including NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang and OpenAI’s Sam Altman, accompanied Trump during the visit, signaling strong private-sector involvement.
